2025 LWV of Florida State Convention

The 40th Biennial State Convention of the League of Women Voters of Florida will occur June 6 - June 7 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Downtown Orlando, Florida.

Attendees will be able to pick up their name badges and packets on the evening of June 5 or the morning of June 6.

Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in our Convention Plenary and vote on our 2025–2027 Program, 2025–2026 budget, 2025–2027 LWVFL Board of Directors and Nominating Committee, and submitted bylaws amendments. Other Convention activities include a reception and dinner on Friday night and a variety of breakout sessions and workshops both days hosted by members and supporters of all levels of the League. There will also be opportunities to network with fellow League members, participate in various training sessions, and hear from dynamic speakers.

Delegates Counts: Local Leagues shall be entitled to delegate representation in the 40th State Biennial Convention as follows: In addition to one president, a local League shall be entitled to one delegate chosen by members of the local League. Local Leagues with more than 25 voting members, as of January 31, 2025 shall be entitled to one additional delegate for each additional 25 voting League members.
